Just you and me.

At its best, the day was going to be spent grocery shopping, and at its worst it looked as if I would be locked in a laundromat, washing a night’s worth of soiled blankets, but instead the day turned into a series of small, sweet surprises.

Oh, happy, happy day.

    An addendum:

    When my groceries arrived, it came with a bouquet of free flowers. When night arrived, my littlest went to bed early, and I spent the last hours of my day with a bar of chocolate and a book; a sweet ending to a sweet day.
