My favorite blog of 2010:
Chez Danisse authored by Denise Parsons, a writer and artist living in San Francisco. Denise knits scarves, she once raised worms and her writing is ethereal, contemplative, dreamy. I like reading it.
"My heart, plucked" is a good one. It reminds me of an early Sylvia Plath poem, one of my favorites, Jilted.
The last section:
While like an early summer plum,
Puny, green, and tart,
Droops upon its wizened stem
My lean, unripened heart.
