“How can I fly, Mom?”

“I don’t know. How does a superhero fly?”

“I can fly up and I can fly down.”

“It’s easier to fly down, I’d think.”

“I wanna fly up.”

“Okay.”

“You get the remote control?”

“To help you fly up?”

“Yeah.”

“I think you’re going to have to do this on your own.”

He ran.

He jumped.

He skidded.

He fell.

Then settled for piloting a paper airplane.
